NORTH FULTON/FORSYTH FEEDER FASTPITCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE FORMS (UPDATED 1/28/11)
The following Excel file contains 2
worksheets which must be completed by all of the Fall 2011 participating teams. The first worksheet is the Regular Season Home Game Availability
worksheet which is required in order to make out the league schedule. This worksheet must identify a minimum of
14 possible home dates to be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays in August, September, and October with
all play to be completed by Wednesday, October 5th. In addition, game
times must be 7pm, 7:15pm, or 7:30pm. Games may not begin prior to 7pm or after 7:30pm. The schedule worksheet must
be completed and returned to the league coordinator by August 15th, 2011.
The second mandatory worksheet that must
be completed is the Team Roster which is due by September 1st, 2011. The roster must identify all
players on the team - any player not listed is ineligible. All players submitted on a team roster must be zoned
for that school based on the Forsyth County or Fulton County attendance zone maps for the 2011-12 school year as
appropriate for the specific school. The file also contains
a player add/drop worksheet which may be submitted any time following the start of the regular season in order to add
or drop a player to/from the team roster. New players are ineligible until the player add form has been submitted
and approved by league coordinators.

2011 FEEDER FASTPITCH SOFTBALL PROGRAM RULES SUMMARY (UPDATED 1/28)
The following document contains a rules summary for the 2011 feeder fastpitch softball
program. For the most part, the league follows the fastpitch rules as defined by the National Federation of High Schools
(NFHS) with some minor additions from the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). A major difference between the feeder
program rules and high school program rules for 2011 is pitching distance. High schools have moved to the 43' pitching
distance starting with the 2010 season. Since the feeder league is developmental and since the majority of players are
12U or 14U in age classification, the pitching distance will remain 40'. Most major softball associations (ASA, USFA,
CSA, NSA, GSA, and USSSA) are keeping the pitching distance at 40' for the 12U and 14U age groups for the 2011 season.
GHSA does not publish a softball rule book but rule books may be purchased directly from NFHS using their web site
(www.nfhs.org). Feeder league specific rules and exceptions to the NFHS/GHSA rules are noted in the document below.

GHSA PLAYER FORMS (IF REQUIRED BY YOUR SCHOOL)
The following forms are from the Georgia High School Association web site and
include the GHSA player participation form and the GHSA medical release form. These forms are required for
participation in high school athletics and may be required for players in the feeder fastpitch program. Ask
the program coordinator for your school if these forms are needed for your daughter. Also, the GHSA softball
rules as specified in the 2008-9 GHSA Constitution and By Laws is provided for information purposes only. These
rules govern the high school fastpitch program for the state of Georgia. For more information on specific rules
for high school fastpitch softball, see the LINKS page to the NFHS web site where you can purchase an official
copy of the high school fastpitch softball rules.
